Karskars (Karskováci) are an ethnic group closely related to Prekovis, who predominantly live around the Karske Sea in Prekonate. They speak Karskar, a Kirilic language which is mutually intelligible with Prekovi. Karskars are the largest minority ethnic group in Prekonate.
Karskars are descended from Kirilics who trekked over the Vrabci Mountains in the 16th and 17th centuries and settled in the eastern parts of modern Prekonate. They are full citizens of Prekonate, and their race and culture is protected by the Second Division of the Provisions of Opava.
