Morivaine Foreign Legion
The Morivaine Foreign Legion (French: Légion étrangère) is a wing of the Morivaine National Guard established in 1727. It was founded primarily as an elite light infantry force to serve in support of the National Convention of Morieux during the Morivaine Revolution. It is unique in that it was comprised entirely of foreign born recruits who volunteered to serve in the Morivaine military. It is commanded entirely by Morivaine officers and, since 1943, allows Morivaine citizens to volunteer as well.
